Big game

We had two game drives in the park and got some great views of elephants, giraffes, warthogs, cape buffalo, and hippos and crocodiles in the Nile.  The only animals we didn't get to see were the lions and leopards.

Particularly on the Monday drive, almost every buffalo seemed to be carrying an oxpecker passenger.

These are Rothschild Giraffes, which are unique to Uganda.  They have white "socks", ears and faces and the males have very dark spots.

The crocodiles were hard to see, especially when they are in the water since they stay submerged just below the surface.
